In addition to the sunrise and popularity of this mountain among climbers (no wonder why the mountain is always crowded), Mount Prau is also friendly for all climbers, both beginners and experienced, and the track is indeed not too heavy and has a short travel time.
Mount Prau which has an altitude of about 2565 (Sunrise Camp, Patak Banteng) – 2590 (Dieng) meters above sea level (masl) is geographically located between three districts namely Batang, Kendal and Wonosobo Regencies.
Mt. Prau Hiking Trail
There are four main hiking trails to Mount Prau, including:
1. Dieng Lane, Wonosobo
2. Banteng Patak Path, Wonosobo
3. Pranten Path from Batang Regency
4. Kendal Line from Kendal Regency
The Banteng Patak Path from Dieng Wonosobo is often recommended by climbers, but myself and my climbing team then climbed it from the Dieng Path which passed the cemetery to the base camp.
Important Note Climber
There are a lot of things that should not be taken while climbing, such as wet tissue. The main reason is of course for the preservation of Mount Prau itself.
Wet tissue contains a kind of plastic fiber which if it is thrown away on the ground will take quite a long time to completely decompose, just like the plastic itself.
In addition, when we are above, we are also reminded sternly not to pick / damage anything that is there, especially various plants.
When examining my climbing team, there was one of the climbers who had just been found to bring down the flower he had picked from the top of the mountain.
One of the ranger / administrators of Prau’s basecamp also told him to apologize and promised not to repeat it again in front of my climbing team and dozens of other climbers who were resting / getting ready at the basecamp.
Therefore, various items which have the potential to become waste that are ignored are prohibited and monitored for their use very closely.

From the right side where we looked, you can see the shape of Mount Sumbing and Mount Sindoro. All are tired of the trip already paid. I want to go there again with friends or family to get even more experience.
